Dr. Matei brings world-class expertise with an MS in Biomaterials and a Certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry. She completed advanced implantology training in Switzerland as an ITI Scholar and has served as faculty at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Matei is a LANAP certified clinician and received the 2022 Educator Award for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics from The American Academy of Periodontics.
